Description
Glass slides with cut, bevelled, frosted or clear ends for use in analysis by microscopy. Used in applications ranging from anatomical pathology, haematology, microbiology to urinalysis.
Cut-edge
90 Degree corner slides, also described as sharp edge slides. “General” laboratory slide.
Bevelled-edge
45 Degree corner slides, also described as round/ground edge slides or “Spreader” slide.
Clear-end
Full length of the slide is transparent and no specific area for labelling.
Frosted/Superfrost-end
25mm portion of the length of the slide is opaque and specifically intended for labelling (by marker or pencil).
Superfrost-plus
Positively charged surface, 25mm portion of the length of the slide is opaque and specifically intended for labelling.
