The oil meter FOM 330 is a handy sensing device with which you can determine the quality of various oil types. The measurement is performed directly in hot oil – e.g. in the deep fat fryer. This helps in determining the oil temperature in °C and the oil quality in percent TPC (Total Polar Compounds). The PC value is a measure for the thermal oxidative utilization factor of frying oil. Local regulations regarding maximum value of %TPC have to be respected.
