Novasina has introduced a simple and easy way to measure water activity for quality managers, production personnel and laboratory technicians with the new LabStart-aw. This starter instrument offers great value and provides all the basic measurement functions required. While simplicity in operation was key to the design, the LabStart-aw still conforms to high quality “Swiss” made standards from Novasina, which includes built-in automatic equilibrium detection and the well-proven resistive-electrolytic sensor technology, which is housed in a robust base plate.
This simple kit, which includes one re-usable humidity calibration standard and re-usable SAL-T humidity standards and long-life sensor with calibration data can be used for measurements in foodstuffs, pharmaceutical, chemical products and cosmetics. As an optional extra, chemical protection filters are also available.
