Erlab has introduced its new range of CaptairBio PCR workstations, designed with powerful UV decontamination that allows you to perform non-pathogenic handlings with a high risk of sample cross contamination by offering protection against DNAs/RNAases contamination from the operator, room and any previous experiments. CaptairBio’s applications range from sample preparations before thermo cycling, post PCR DNA sequencing revelation / separation, invitro fertilization, cellular cultures and vegetal biology preparation of sterile solutions.
The filtration column includes a HEPA H14 filter which guarantees 99.995% filtration efficiency for particles larger than 0.1 microns (according to the EN1822-1 standard, MPPS method). The air entering the hood is free of external contamination and provides an ultra-clean work atmosphere.
The filtration column technology also allows the use of optional carbon molecular filter offering additional protection of the hood from gaseous pollutants present in the laboratory ambient air which may interfere with sample integrity. Three optional worktops exist for you to choose from; and enamel coated glass worktop that resists all chemicals (except HF), a high grade-stainless steel worktop with easy to clean smooth round angles, and the solid phenolic resin worktop that offers very high mechanical and chemical resistance.
