Labotec were recognised with an Exhibitor Distinction award at the 4th annual Association of African Exhibition Organizers (AAXO) ROAR* Awards, which honours excellence in the exhibition and events industry on the continent for 2019. The prestigious ROAR Awards in conjunction with EXSA’s EXSA-LLENCE Awards was held on Friday 31 January 2020 at the Gallagher Convention Centre under the umbrella of the Exhibition Industry Awards at a celebratory 007 themed gala event. The Labotec stand was nominated by Messe Muenchen SA, organisers of analytica Lab Africa, and co-hosted with food & drink technology (fdt) Africa and IFAT Africa in July 2019.

The AAXO ROAR Awards are aimed at acknowledging and recognising excellence in the exhibition industry, and judged on successful exhibition strategies incorporating marketing, public relations, operations and activation.  The nominees are judged by an independent 13-panel of local and international industry experts and the results are audited.

”We are absolutely thrilled and honoured to receive this accolade of recognition in the industry”, says Debbie Shaw, Labotec Marketing Manager. The analytica Lab Africa where Labotec showcased their 90m2 stand is the exhibition portfolio for analysis, laboratory technology, diagnostics and biotechnology.

The next analytica Lab Africa is scheduled to take place in 2021 from the 13 to 15 July, at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
