Drying and Curing with Labotec Industrial Oven

The more volumous 2000 litre Labotec Industrial Drying Ovens found in mining, pharmaceutical and general industry applications can be used for drying, curing and ageing operations and has more space to fit in more load. Recently, Labotec supplied a client in the Military Industry with a new 2000 litre oven for their assembly plant. The new unit is a replacement oven and is used for drying and curing parts that are manufactured in accordance with ISO standards, and tested, qualified and manufactured to NATO specifications.

The Labotec Drying Oven is used for curing and drying components prior to assembly. Once the components have been sandblasted and chemically treated, they are cured in the oven. Thereafter these components are further coated and dried at higher temperatures. These robust and reliable drying ovens operate using solid state switching, and the 2000 litre ovens also offer a convenient purpose built push-in trolley making it easier to load and offload the components outside the oven. The doors are mounted on robust hinges and the door seal is manufactured from long lasting silicon for effective sealing. Other features are the multi stage heating and 24 hour timer. This is controlled by electronic P.I.D. temperature control with digital indication of set and process value and a high accuracy pt100 temperature sensor and solid state control relay for optimum reliability.
