This July, Johannesburg was abuzz with excitement as Analytica Lab Africa 2025 took over the Gallagher Convention Centre. As the largest science and laboratory technology event on the continent, it welcomed 7,768 visitors and over 138 exhibitors, making it a landmark event for the industry.

But this was more than just a tech showcase — it was a vibrant meeting ground for laboratory professionals, researchers, and industry leaders from across Southern Africa and beyond.

Labotec Stand Highlights: Innovation in Action

Labotec’s stand featured around 70 of the latest technologies from 18 local and international suppliers, catering to a wide variety of interests and specialties.

One of the key highlights was the celebration of Labotec’s65th anniversary, marked by the launch of the Limited Edition Labotec EcoTherm & IncoTherm digital ovens and incubators, and Labotec Precision Balances. These products emphasize local manufacturing, durability, and quality—all at an economical price for the South African market.

LaboQuest65 VR Experience & Anniversary Fun

To mark our 65-year milestone, Labotec introduced the “LaboQuest65” VR game, where visitors could embark on a space-themed mission to rediscover Planet Earth. For those less into virtual reality, our “Wonderbooth” photo station provided a fun and memorable alternative.
