Labotec Pty Ltd has announced that John Harding and Johan Schoeman have been appointed to the board of Directors with immediate effect from 1st August 2016. They join the current Directors; Stefan Harth and his wife Jocelyn Harth.
“As a means of recognising their incredible efforts and potential for the continued success of the company, it gives my wife and myself great pleasure to announce they will be appointed as Directors of Labotec. John as Financial Director and Johan as Sales Director,” says Stefan Harth. He added, “we are very positive and confident that this endorsement of their contribution to Labotec’s success in the past and in the future will ensure that we continue to hold our well-established and respected place in the industry”.
Prior to this appointment, Johan Schoeman and John Harding, who previously held the positons of Labotec Sales Manager and Financial Manager respectively for the last decade, both played a significant role in growing the company since 1997. Their hard work and dedication to Labotec’s success has helped to solidify the company’s sound reputation of stability and reliability.
John Harding, new Financial Director commented, “after 18 years of service at Labotec, I look forward to be part of the team that guides Labotec towards an era of change and renewal.”
Sales Director Johan Schoeman says, “I am optimistic about the challenge offered by this new position to find new strategies and solutions in assisting our customers to grow and prosper in this difficult economic climate we are facing”.
Labotec was established in 1960 as a family business by Klaus Harth, and has substantially grown to become a key supplier of scientific equipment and instruments across Southern Africa.
