Help! This world is too big for me! Shivering, scared and alone in the world only days after being born under African skies, an African lynx, also known as the Rooikat or Caracal, was luckily discovered after his mother was shot dead by a farmer and handed over to Eddy van Eck of Lory Park zoo in Midrand. Prognosis for survival at such a young age of a few days was not good. With a tenacious spirit and a strong will to survive he made it. At Labotec we lost our hearts to this adorable little fur ball after seeing him for the first time at 16 days of age and both staff and management reached deep into their pockets and decided to adopt him. In return, we got to give him his name - Teckie. As a company involved in the scientific industry we feel it is important to contribute towards the science of conservation, which is trying to make the world big enough for all.
